Press Release – PSB Academy-SISEU Sponsorship Supports Local Workforce for Lifelong Learning
Singapore, November 17, 2022 – PSB Academy and the Singapore Industrial and Services Employees’ Union (SISEU) officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to offer qualifying and eligible SISEU members and their children, a sponsorship benefit in the form of discounted diploma, graduate, and post-graduate programmes.

PSB Academy has renewed its partnership with SISEU to offer qualifying and eligible SISEU members and their children, a scholarship benefit in the form of discounted diploma, graduate, and post-graduate programmes. Under the renewed three-year partnership, PSB Academy has committed to supporting them in expanding their academic competencies to remain competitive and resilient in this uncertain employment landscape.
The PSB Academy-SISEU Sponsorship MOU was signed by SISEU President, Mr Muhammad Shariffudin, and Chief Executive Officer PSB Academy, Mr Derrick Chang, in the presence of SISEU Executive Secretary, National Trades Union Congress Deputy Secretary-General and Minister of State in Prime Minister’s Office, Mr Desmond Tan. The signing took place at PSB Academy’s new STEM Wing, an innovation hot house equipped with high-tech and industry approved labs and facilities, aimed to bolster STEM education for students.

As Asia’s Future Academy, the PSB Academy-SISEU Sponsorship aims to support the inspirations and goals of mid-career professionals to be future-ready and innovative contributors to our digitally driven economy,” said Derrick.
With the support of industry partners and academics, PSB Academy is committed to providing quality education to shape and nurture a future-ready workforce. The scholarship application is available to more than 80,000 SISEU members and their children over the next three years, subject to their eligibility to qualify for the programmes.
